Family Sponsorship (Common-law partner)
It was one of the toughest family sponsorship applications. The applicant came from Philippines where the divorce is not allowed, and had a common-law partner in Canada. So, we had to do everything to prove that their relation is genuine. Luckily both the applicant and sponsor kept all documents and records, which helped our application very much. After submitting the application, it takes slightly less than 1 year to be approved.
